Gyms

We never had all these gyms when we were growing up because we didn't sit in front of TVs or computers and neither did our parents. We were out doing things. Playing, chores, riding just not sedentary like the bunch out of shape lazy bastards running around today who blame the food and calories when what is truly causing the problem is stuffing food in their mouths and sitting on their asses.

Connecticut winter

Just watched and quickly turned off the news. If you've been in CT or New England for more then 1 winter and you don't know how to walk in snow, shovel snow, drive in snow or just be in snow and need to be told by the talking heads You Are a Moron!!!

How stupid can you be???

We just had sub-zero temps here in New England and some brain dead 27 year old decided that temperatures don't apply to her.  She visited her ex boyfriend and then decided to play outside in her indoor clothes.  The report was she was outside for about 3 hours.  I just can't believe it!  Such moronic behavior!   Little children cry and say I'm cold.  Just because it sub-zero it still takes a few minutes for your skin to freeze and I'm sure that's painful.  Somehow it wasn't painful enough for this idiot.  Methinks alcohol or drugs were involved!  If they were I hope she learned a lesson.
If they weren't involved my god it scares me to think this moron can breed and create more morons.  Hopefully there aren't many more like her out there otherwise the human race is doomed!!!  What am I saying we are doomed!  Read the paper, watch the news she is what passes for average and as George Carlin said "just think half of the people are stupider" .  This was in Hartford CT if you want to check it out.

Paying for TV good idea or really stupid?

Cable TV, dish, satellite TV all TV we have to pay for so why do we have to put with ads on the shows. It makes no sense to me. If we are paying to watch something why do we have to watch advertisements for the show? I would think the advertisers would want us to have free TV cable dish what have you so that we could watch more of their ads. But why should they? We are paying to watch advertisements so why should they pay and lose profits. Man we are stupid! I am thinking about giving up my cable and going to Netflicks or just listening to the radio, reading, and watching a movie from time to time.

First Frozen Hike of the Season

This started at Peterson Park in Wolcott CT and went about 2 miles north to Spindle Hill Road.

Very scenic.  Flat you are in a valley following a stream.  The dogs loved it.  They weren't good at posing though.

Motorized Paragliding

This is my second time up in this craft what a fantastic feeling.  Can't wait to do it again.  We flew out of Goodspeed Airport in CT.  My girlfriend was the first up I took the second flight.  These start with her landing and just pictures from the air.  Can't wait to go again!
