Barkhamstead Reservoir in NW CT is a beautiful area and m/c ride.
Beaver Brook is one more fun place to visit. Rafting, fishing, picnics all in the area Pleasant Valley CT and Hartland.
Well worth the trip. Oh and Pleasant Valley has a working drive in theater.
Here are some nice rides I've taken. Here are my thought on life in general in this day and age from an old school biker who quit partying years ago and still amazed he lived through it all. Here come my thoughts and please feel free to comment back. Jimmy Bonz

Campbell Falls
What a great find. Ok it's been there on the CT/MA border forever and a state park shared by both states since 1906 but we just found it.
Well worth the trip it's just off Rte 272 in North Norfolk CT. The falls are about a 1/2 mile walk from the parking. You can climb behind them or swim in the pool at the bottom. Plenty of trails to hike and not a lot of people. No fancy amenities just an outhouse. Keeps away the riff-raff.
Hope you enjoy it.

Commercials for morons
Bring back the old TV commercials for BB guns cigarettes, booze, cars etc. They were tastefully done. I'm tired of laxatives, male and feminine hygiene products, anti depression pills pro depression pills. Were you stupid? Good you can sue some innocent person or company because you're a brainless idiot. Totally useless and tasteless ads made for morons just like the reality TV shows. Stupid has taken over.
Global What?
Thanks to Global Warming I see we're
having new events at Memorial Day picnics this year. Yeah snowball
fights, dog sled races, skiing, ice skating. Just to name a few. Oh
and alternate side of the street parking will probably be suspended.

Cities = Cesspools
Ahh cities! The cesspools of modern society, the drain on taxpayers everywhere since they can not support themselves.
In the beginning cities had a reason they brought people closer together for protection, people actually produced things in cities manufactured things and traded for food and other supplies and it worked for a time.
Then cities became to big, to many people not enough tax base so the cities started finding ways to tax the suburbs through state and federal taxes on people who don't live there and may never want to even visit. And what do these poor middle class taxpayers who don't live in the city but are supporting them get. If they live close enough they get the crime, the smog, the unwashed masses to lazy to work. Cities will be the downfall of modern civilization. Look at New Haven does anything good come out of there or Waterbury or Hartford or any Connecticut city?

Crazy young killers
Did you notice most of these crazy shooters are young teens and twenties. I say expect more because this is what happens when you protect kids from reality when they are growing up. Parents tell kids they are the best and all of a sudden the real world shows up and wow they are not the best. They have no coping skills because they've never had to deal with failure and have been raised with nothing but violent video games, movies and TV so all they know how to do is lash out. Pretty damn sad parents are raising and turning out mass murderers.

Love vs Like
Love vs Like. I think it is better to like someone and perhaps grow to love them, rather then love someone and never grow to like them. You always hear of people falling out of love, but rarely of people falling out of like.
